Dodger Gabel June 1, 2004 –“ June 11, 2014How do we begin to put into words everything you were to usin the ten wonderful years we called you our sweet –œDoddy Dot–?Your freckled ear–¦Your goofy, crooked grin–¦Your wooly coat of hair that so wasn't typical of a yorkie!So many wonderful times together–¦Waking up to your sweet face every morning–¦Helping –œmommy– pick out an outfit to wear to work–¦Dropping a sheet over you and playingthe –œinvisible dog– game on laundry days–¦Those wonderful, joyful greetings at the door–¦so often the highlight of our day!And oh, how you loved your furry stuffed babies!Now we promise to take good care of those babies for you–¦Every day–¦We thank you Lord, for the gift of this precious dog–¦We were so blessed to have him in our lives–¦We reluctantly let him go now back to You as we must–¦And we will try to wait patiently to see his sweet face and holdour precious baby once again–¦when we all meet at the Rainbow Bridge.

My Pug, My Friend
An inspiration to my life, I found in a Pug,
To mother and nurture this special one;
The value and meaning of being a mom,
Made it all the worthwhile for just a small hug.
Teaching me to share, to love and live,
I learned the meaning of motherhood;
My child, my dog, my friend,
For it all, I would give.
My prayers will always be
For her happiness and the best of breed;
To know her and to love her,
I will give my all, you'll see.

Thank you little Pugsly for seeing the beauty in me;

but laugh and talk of me as if I were still beside you....
I loved you so.......
I will always leave footprints in your heart!
My "DoWheels", My "Do Man", "My Love" I held you in my arms when I brought you home as a puppy; And I held you in my arms when you were unable to carry on and you left to go to a better place.
I know you are running and playing and we will try not to grieve but a wound has now been place on my heart that will never heal. In my mind I know you are in a better place and have no more pain and it was time to let go.
I just wish my heart could understand that. My heart has never felt such indescribable pain like this but I have
14 years of memories to help ease that pain!! You filled my life with so much love, you were not only my loving companion that walked beside me through everything, you were my friend. I will miss walking through that door and have your handsome face greet me. I love you with all my heart and you will be soooo missed.
